His name Hicham Lharraz, or using Indonesian transliteration, his name is Hisyam Elharas. He is a Moroccan-Qur’anic reciter. I ‘came across’ him in YouTube in the middle of the last Ramadhan in someone’s channel. He recited the last three ayats of Surah Al-Baqarah and some other ayats of other surahs so beautifully. Awesome. His recitation is sublime. His pronunciation is smooth and effortless, his voice is soft and beautiful. His melodious recitation is thrilling, heart soothing, and mind-and-soul cooling. His recitation radiates peacefulness, and it  ‘advertises’ the beauty of the Qur’an. The more I listen to his recitation, the more peaceful I feel. His recitation amplifies my love to the Qur'an. 

Some netizens say that his recitation is golden voice from the Heaven.  Is it exaggeration? I am sure not because all his videos are viewed by a huge number of viewers. It suggests that a huge number of people admire him.

Since then, I chase his videos in his official channel. I play his videos multiple times every single day. Countless of time. I play it in the morning, in day time, in the afternoon, at night. May Allah keep him away from riya’ and may Allah grant him with the highest Jannah. Aamiin…
